1. Overview

Weighing scale, also known as weightless feeder, is a kind of weighing equipment with intermittent feeding and continuous discharging. Because the weightlessness control is carried out in hopper, it can achieve higher control accuracy, and the structure is easy to seal, so the weighing accuracy in powder control is greatly improved compared with the traditional spiral scale.

As shown in the figure, the working process is as follows: setting the required weighing weight (such as 50kg/h) on the weightlessness scale instrument (or touch screen), setting the lower and upper limit weights of feeding in the weighing hopper (such as starting feeding below 30kg in the weighing hopper, stopping feeding when the weight reaches 150kg).

Start the weightless scale and the screw feeder starts to rotate the layout. At this time, the weightless scale instrument will reduce the feedback rate according to the weight in the weighing hopper, and at the same time, with the frequency feedback of the screw feeder by the frequency converter governor, real-time PID operation will be carried out, and then the frequency of the frequency converter governor will be controlled, so that the screw feeder can be stabilized. Material discharged 50 kg/h.

When the weight of the material in the weighing hopper is less than the set 30 kg, the weighing controller locks the current discharge flow and automatically opens the fast feeding valve. The material in the rapid transitional hopper is added to the weighing hopper. When the weight in the weighing hopper reaches the set 150 kg, the fast feeding valve is closed and the feeding is completed. The weighing controller unlocks and carries on the PID calculation again, so that the screw feeder can discharge 50 kg/h quantitatively.

3. Technical characteristics of products

3.1. Weightlessness feeder provides single feedback control feeding technology for users, eliminating the lag of PLC signal acquisition, slow running speed and poor anti-interference performance, so feeding accuracy and stability are higher.

3.2. Choosing different screw and feeding methods according to material characteristics, the accuracy can reach (+0.2%), which is better than others.

The accuracy of the dynamic flow scale is greatly improved.

3.3. The material of weighing platform is stainless steel. The sensor is semi-enclosed by the cover so as to reduce the material entering the weighing table.

Accurate weighing. The contact parts with materials are all made of stainless steel.

6. The difference between twin screw and single screw

6.1. Single screw is used for materials with good fluidity and non-adhesion.

6.2. The twin screw is cast as a whole and has self-cleaning function. The material is pushed out through the twin screw. The spherical bucket above the screw mixes horizontally and vertically to avoid material bridging. Generally, the twin screw is used for materials with poor fluidity, high moisture content and easy adhesion.
